Hogsmeade was fun, I think that maybe the weather will be looking up soon. I know it's a bit too early to tell, but right now I could go for some spring. I know it's March so that's supposed to mean rain, but rain can be fun sometimes. I think it will be nice to have a weekend where I'm not playing quidditch, I'll probably go down to the game. We've been working out like crazy. I definitely think we'll win our next match.

Apparently I am not so good at skating. After falling on my ass twice I decided that skating is not for me and I decided to watch instead because that is much more safe. If I was good at skating I think that it would be a lot of fun. It seems very relaxing, but hard too. Is anybody else freaking out that NEWTS are coming really fast? I hope I'm prepared, I have been studying a lot lately, but I just want it to be enough. Is everybody having study groups? Or are you basically studying by yourselves?

Have you figured out the charity that you're doing for March? We only have a month!

Christmas was fun, I know it was a week ago, but still. I had a great time with my baby sister and brother. Being home is fun, but I will be so glad to be back to Hogwarts. The only drawback is that this means NEWTS are getting closer. My studying face will be in use. For the first time in forever I stayed home on New Years Eve, honestly I cannot think of the last time I actually remembered a New Years Eve. It's kind of refreshing.

Anything else you need my support for? I'd be happy to help. Or are we still on Squib suffrage?

So December already? This has come very quickly this year. I am also interested about the ball that is coming up. I'm not sure if I'll go or not, but I probably will. Who doesn't love an excuse to dress up.
So what are all the ladies going in to the ball?

Our next match is tomorrow. This should be interesting. I mean, Shiloh has been working us hard the past couple of days so I think we'll be better off this time. All that running as to do something for us.
Soo anybody want to go to Hogsmeade?

Only a few days until the Gryffindor/Ravenclaw game, I'm getting more and more nervous. Ravenclaw is going to be really hard to beat this year, but I think that we have a good chance to beat them. Paris was lovely, I had such a good time in the Louvre. It was just so amazing, I would love to go back and hopefully I will soon. The whole appreciation group got together nicely. I was actually kind of surprised that nothing happened between anyone.
ward to self // I'm fucking invisible? Whenever I find out who wrote this hot or not list...well lets just say I won't be happy. I never knew that just because I wasn't known by everyone meant that I wasn't "hot", but whatever I'm trying not to care. I don't think it's working though.//

A couple more weeks under my belt and I am officially feeling a little more at ease about this whole being in my seventh year thing. I guess I was still half in my summer mindset when I was stressing out about potions essays and other homework because right now I am getting everything done on time. Me getting things done on time is a little odd if you know me well because I tend to procrastinate because I like quidditch better than doing my homework, unless it's potions. Speaking of quidditch the first match was yesterday and Slytherin won why must they always win? This means that Gryffindor has our first game soon, the twenty fourth of October. So everyone support Gryffindor! It should be a great match, I know Ravenclaw has been preparing a lot.
On a side note, who's excited for our upcoming art appreciation trip to the Lourve? It should be interesting, I haven't been to the Lourve for ages, I think I went when I was younger, but I can't recall. I mean I can't believe that the Hogwarts administration is letting us have a whole weekend stay in France for this! I wonder if we'll get to choose our roommates as long as I'm not with Alyssa Wilson I'll be okay because if they assign them and make us stay with someone from another house something terribly wrong could happen and I don't want to witness anything.

Honestly some days I do not know why I have any interest in potions at all. This essay is going to kill me, no doubt about it. I mean, don't get me wrong, Professor Nitely you're awesome and all, but two and a half rolls of parchment, no thank you. Instead of finishing the essay I want a distraction. So if anyone has any ideas at all about what I can do instead of this essay that would be greatly appreciated.
Also, that field trip was quite interesting. I decided to go only in case my other chosen careers don't take off. But it was cool to see the inner workings of all the magical games that go on. So if I really want to get a place on a Quidditch team for my job, perhaps an in with these people would be nice, although it really is the captains of the teams that have the final and only say, a little hint from a higher power could be good. I think I am going to go to most of these career days because who knows maybe I will change my mind on what I want to be; I like to keep my options open.
